good mates.

For the past two weeks, we had Ana as our roommate. She is Slovenian and sooo nice. She is majoring in marketing and advertisement in Slovenia, but studied thru Erasmus for 4 months. Erasmus is the European program for students who want to study in other countries apart of the EU.

She taught us how to say ladybug in Slovenian and bought us magnets as going away remembrances later. Also, her aunt and uncle our a vineyard in Slovenia. When her parents came to move her out, she had them bring two bottles of their families wine! Her last name is even on the bottle. Can’t wait to crack it open.

Our new roommate moved in this Saturday and she is equally as sweet. She is from Norway and soooo kind. She is here to study Italian and then, apply to Bologna University in the fall. We talked about Norway and honestly, I had never really thought of it before. Life there seems very nice [ie salmon, free healthcare, free university] and I will have to swing by sometime.

Both of these girls know multiple languages. This is one thing that is safe to say I envy of all Europeans.

Ana knows: Slovenian, French, English and Italian.

Ida knows: Two different types of Norwegian, yes, 2 different types! German English and is now learning Italian.
